With over 35 years experience in the construction industry, Robert Furmage is President and co-owner of R.P. Murray. A graduate of North Carolina State University, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has worked at many levels during his career including laborer, superintendent, on-site project manager, regional manager, operations manager and now president. Robert had worked at a large regional construction company for Rick Murray and shared Rick's aspirations to work with a company that focused on the people who would be using the facilities that he was in charge of building. He has extensive experience in healthcare, financial, educational, non-profit and church projects. He joined Rick in 1993 and became president upon Rick's retirement in 2002. He is dedicated to the attention to detail that makes customer satisfaction his first priority.

Attention to detail and long-range vision go hand in hand when David Sharpe puts his 31-year construction industry experience to work for R.P. Murray. As a co-owner and Vice President, David is responsible for listening to client goals, estimating jobs and anticipating the challenges of each unique project. A strong dedication to his church and area service organizations underscores David's commitment to the local community
and support his strong belief in delivering value to
every R.P. Murray client.

A commitment to client satisfaction helps drive Audi Carter, Vice President and co-owner, in his work with R.P. Murray. He puts his 27-year experience to work keeping projects within the estimate, budget and schedule and places a strong emphasis on understanding clients and their concerns around projects so that client satisfaction remains high. Audi values the strong connections he has with his family and with his church family.

Since Dawn joined R.P. Murray in 1998, she has been responsible for the company’s bookkeeping. She is R.P. Murray’s internal contact for oversight of project expenses. She works closely with all project managers and supervisors to effectively coordinate the many details involving project expenditures. Her dedication and eye for detail help R.P. Murray deliver on our quality and budget commitments with every project in progress at any one time.
